Alliant Energy is currently recruiting for engineering internship opportunities for Summer 2015. These positions are part of the Boiler Engineering group and are located in Cedar Rapids, IA and either Pardeeville or Sheboygan, WI. These are full time positions, Monday through Friday, with flexible first shift hours.
As a Boiler Engineering Intern you will be collecting and compiling ASME Code Required Information into a central file. The internship also involves developing steam cycle heat balances as a training tool and assisting with SIL (vendor documentation) organization and presentation.
Sophomore, Junior and Senior level students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.
All candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to work in a power plant environment. Some positions require travel within the service territory, business related travel expenses and mileage will be reimbursed.
