A Day in the Life as a Contact Center Member Service Representative As a contact center representative, you are passionate and enthusiastic about delivering world-class service to our members with a say-yes attitude.
Most of your day is spent on the phone or in online messaging.
There are usually members waiting to be served, so you don't have to worry about bringing a book or knitting project to work.
Our contact center reps are never bored! You assist members with basic financial transactions such as looking up account info, posting transfers, and taking loan applications in a timely, accurate, and friendly manner.
You answer questions about membership to both existing and potential members.
You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and recognize opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our members.
You build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing members that lead to referrals and sales.
You are trained to handle as much as possible yourself, but need to forward some calls to your supervisors or other departments.
As you grow in knowledge, you have opportunities to help out other reps as well.
You work hard towards achieving individual and team contact center metrics goals.
While some callers require extra patience, most are appreciative of the excellent customer service you provide them-and you go home each day feeling good about the problems and challenges you've been able to help our members with.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
