Create a professional and guest service orientated environment for all guests at the Resort, both during their arrival and throughout the duration of their stay.

Summary:
Assist with the check-in/check-out processes and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
This will be accomplished through helping guests in every aspect possible.
DutiesApproach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-orientated manner.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary by the needs of the resort.
Maintaining high standards of personal appearance as outlined by the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center Handbook including wearing the proper uniform attire at all times while on the job site.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
At all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
Load and unload luggage carts with extra care.
Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities (hours of outlets, waterpark, spa, fitness center, etc.
).
Inspect the guest room to ensure it is in order and that supplies are adequate.
Explain features of the room including operation of radio, telephone, television, in-room movie system, high-speed Internet, etc.
Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
Deliver messages and notes as needed to meeting rooms and guest rooms.
Deliver flowers, laundry, packages, and amenities as requested to guest rooms.
Assist in room changes.
In the absence of the Concierge assist guests with a listing of local attractions, special events, churches, restaurants, etc.
Assist house persons with guest requests.
Provide valet parking service for guests.
Assist with tours of hotel suites and villas upon request.
Assist in providing shuttle service to and from the condos and local area restaurants.
Ensure charges and baggage pulls are properly logged and turned into your supervisor or front desk as required.
Serve as a team player by performing other duties as requested by management.
QualificationsHave a customer and service driven work ethic.
Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state, and meet all requirements set in the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center Vehicle Safety Policy.
All of these policies must be abided by during the entire term of employment otherwise termination may result.
Able to work flexible and long hours.
Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be 21 years old to drive the shuttle.
Seasonal part time availability.
