Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to join our team as Direct Support Professionals.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide vital support and assistance to individuals with varying levels of disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives and promoting their independence.

Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, while promoting a sense of balance and well-being.
Emotional Support:
Establish a nurturing and compassionate relationship with individuals, offering emotional support and companionship to help them thrive and achieve personal excellence.
Medication Management:
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor any changes in health conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals to ensure the success of their medical care.
Meal Preparation:
Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on individual dietary requirements, promoting healthy eating habits and traditions, and assist with feeding, if necessary.
Household Assistance:
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces to create a comfortable and tidy environment for individuals.
Transportation:
Provide safe transportation to appointments, social activities, and community outings, adapting to their unique needs and preferences.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during caregiving shifts, promoting effective communication within the care team.
Communication:
Regularly communicate with the individual's family members, healthcare providers, and other support team members to ensure coordinated care, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role is highly desirable.
Empathy and Patience:
Possess a genuine concern for the well-being of individuals with disabilities and demonstrate patience and understanding in challenging situations, respecting their uniqueness and encouraging their personal growth.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and the wider support team, emphasizing the importance of clear and compassionate communication.
Flexibility:
Adaptability to work in various environments and adjust to changing schedules and individual needs, demonstrating the ability to adapt to new situations and encourage flexibility in others.
Dependability:
Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing consistent care to the individuals, upholding the value of dependability in every aspect of the caregiving role.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including assisting with lifting, transferring, and supporting individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved.
First Aid and CPR Certification:
Preferred, but not mandatory.
Willingness to obtain certification if not already possessed, demonstrating the importance of excellence in emergency preparedness.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
