We seek a proactive decision-maker and team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical financial and administrative initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary with experience in non-profit organizations and fundraising, with excellent and proven management, development, financial and communication skills. This position will report to the Habitat for Humanity Lakeside Board of Directors.
Essential job functions:
Provide leadership for fundraising and public relations program
General program administration
Financial management and Development
Provide leadership and management of direct reports
Support and assist operating committee chairs of: Resource Development, Nominating, Building, Volunteer, Outreach and Church Relations, Family Services and Finance committees
Qualifications and critical competencies:
Bachelor's Degree and/or sufficient training and experience
Extensive experience in all aspects of fundraising, financial management and program development.
At least 5 years of increasingly responsible leadership experience, with volunteers and paid staff, and success in strategic planning and organizational development.
Demonstrated computer experience including word processing, spread sheet programs, email, web searches, social media, and Quickbooks
Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility
Excellent skills in relating to people in business, religious, political and low-income communities
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Demonstrated ability to respond effectively in fast developing crises situations
Benefits:
